The HbA1c controls produced by Canterbury Scientific are suitable for use as calibrators. However Canterbury Scientific is unable to assign calibrator values to this material. Value assignment would need to be done according to an approved protocol which would include running the material on multiple instruments, in multiple laboratories and with the use of traceable HbA1c reference material.
